It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation regarding Barb Higgins.

My husband and I purchased our first home in September 2003, and we were very fortunate to have Barb as our Real Estate agent. Since we had no prior experience dealing with open houses, contracts, title, inspections, or home financing, Barb took the time to explain the process to us and answered all of our questions, every step of the way. She made herself available to us, and kept our best interests in mind at all times.

In fact, Barb managed to save us several thousand  dollars on our home purchase in two ways: 1) She negotiated a contract that allowed us to buy our home with no out-of-pocket expense, and 2) she noticed several unnecessary (and outrageous) fees built in to our original lender's contract. She helped us find another mortgage company that went the "extra mile" for us. Together, Barb and our lender helped us get the best deal possible on our home.

Even after our Real Estate deal was done, Barb went out of her way to tie up loose ends, and made sure everything was right. And she continues to keep in contact with us to make sure we're happy in our new house!

My husband and I would strongly recommend Barb Higgins if you are looking to buy or sell a home. We were extremely satisfied and impressed with the integrity and expertise in which she conducted our transaction.
